emails like this are few and far between, but when you get one it's reminds you not only WHY you became a teacher, but what you should be striving for every day.
"i just want you to know that {school I used to teach at} was the best thing thats happened to me. I know i am who i am because of you and all the teachers there. You had a serious impact on my life. but specifially on how i analyze things. I question everything and i appreciate all your efforts more and more everyday...im enjoying my life very much now and i hope you understand that you had something to do w/ that...ive been waiting to say that for a while. I typed that 6 years ago. Im glad i finally got to paste it"
Teaching is the best thing I've ever decided to do. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life.

Awwwwww. That's really sweet.
WOW! INCREDIBLE! There's a saying out there somewhere that goes something like "My life mattered because I made a difference in the life of a child". AND YOU DID. And I'm so proud. Is that ever a keeper. WOW!
