Countdown to Mermaid Parade....

I have been trying to make a sweater that embodies the spirit of the Coney Island Mermaid Parade for a couple of years now, and I think I finally did it...

The sweater pattern is from Stephanie Japel's fitted knits, and the mermaid is adapted from the Stitch & Bitch mudflap girl.

I *heart* the mermaid parade. Now that the sweater is finished, I have to get working on the costume...
