And the girl can KNIT!

I am so excited. I have been practicing knitting for weeks... back and forth, knit and purl, then tearing it out. I'll be damned if I make something less than perfect!!

So I'm knitting this:
It's so pretty. Even though it's completely impractical. Sleeveless? Wool? Right. But it'll look pretty hanging in my closet.

Oh, and of course I didn't check my gauge. So I'm prepared to rip it out and start all over again. All part of the learning experience!
