One of the secretaries at work is always commenting on my capelets, and also when I wear turquoise. So I made her a turquoise capelet. It's not that she does anything particularly special for me... it's just a random act of kindness.
The pattern is "Chanson en Crochet" from the book "Wrap Style," but I got it free off Interweave Press' website. It's worked up in the Bobby Blue Malabrigo wool I got from the WEBS website a couple of weeks ago. I think I made some small mistake somewhere, because when I put it on, the bottom didn't have enough increases to go aorund me... so I increased at random until it fit. It was probably my bad. The floral detailing is very pretty.
